The Chasing Green Podcast

I talk with Chase, founder of Shotty Gear, as we discuss ways we've been successful on public land and also the similar ways we have been successful running traffic. Chase is on limited time so we also dive into ways he's been successful with not a ton of days to hunt.

Nate Verdin from Falling Tide Tv joins me today to talk Louisiana duck hunting and toss around some of the hot topics being debated across the duck world right now. We also talk about what the future of duck hunting may look like and how we got to where we are now.

I detail the shooting I setup I used for duck hunting this past duck season. I also give a review on the new Beretta A400 I used. I then give some of the tips I've picked up along the way that has made me a better shot.

I go over this past duck season and how it went for me. The good, the bad and everything in-between. Then I dive into the flooded corn debate and give my perspective on the topic.

I talk about an online debate I had with an individual about if ducks are the next buffalo or not. I also detail a recent hunt that I had with Goldenboy that turned into one I think will stick with us for a while.

I detail my last few weeks of hunting over the holiday timeframe. I also answer some common questions I get asked about running traffic on ducks.

I talk with Wade, founder of Decoy Central where he focuses on providing waterfowl hunters with affordable gear that actually works. We talk about our recent hunt together and then dive into Wade's multi-decade journey chasing waterfowl across multiple states. Then we talk about why and how he started Decoy Central.
